Ownership of designated Sales area in which you will sell the product according to set targets. Provide on-going excellent Customer Service to existing Client base. To seek out new business opportunities, among both existing and new customers. Consistently Maintaining all these relationships. As the front line of the company, it is expected you will be an exemplary Ambassador for us at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Gaining Orders from existing Clients in accordance with set targets & goals
• Growing existing Clients in accordance with set targets & goals
• Identifying and getting new clients on board in accordance with set targets & goals
• Customer care
o Problem resolution if client experiences any issues with product.
o Suggesting alternative products when initial choice is not available.
• Nurturing Client relationships
o Visiting clients regularly
o Phone and email support
• End user contacts where required.
o Make Sample Boards
o Query Resolution
• Observing the market & competition and identifying gaps that our products can fill both in a long term and short-term capacity.
• Knowledge of product
o Being aware of all product specifications – diagrams, conformity marks etc
• Launch new products.
o In house demonstrations
o In house breakfast mornings
• Technical Support for clients when they have queries or issues, using your technical knowledge but also being aware of supports and online information tools that brands provide.
• Managing rebates
• Reporting as required
• Constant awareness of statistics using company tools such as “Phocas”
• Returns & Credit Note processing
• Provide quotations for customers when required.
• Liaising with all internal departments as required to ensure smooth running of the business.
• Attending meetings as required
• Some overnight stays maybe required in the course of your role.
• Occasional trips to other companies within the Scolmore UK Group may be required from time to time.
