An exciting opportunity has become available as a Quality Control Manager to work alongside the Technical Department within ESP.
The main purpose of this job is to assist the Technical Manager by coordinating and supporting the Quality Control functions within the technical team.
Main Duties
• Assist the Technical Manager by coordinating and supporting the Quality Control functions within the Technical Team.
• Continually evaluate quality team processes and search for ways to improve them.
• Support the trouble shooting of QC issues that may arise.
• Evaluate faults and ensure faults identified are escalated where necessary.
• Provide guidance for members of the team when required.
• Ensure workload is manageable and deadlines are being fulfilled.
• Ensure company policies are being adhered to and followed.
• Prepare for and participate in department reviews with the Technical Manager and / or other senior management within the business, when required.
• Maintain quality databases, reports and documentation.
• Process first stage and final inspection of NPD.
• Conduct product audits working with office in China for factory audits, raise corrective actions when necessary.
• Supporting all supplier and customer visits (when required)
• Develop / maintain good working relations with all Area Sales Managers and our customers.
• Provide timely & accurate product related reports and response to our customers and ASMs.
• Feedback relevant product related issues.
• Work with Product Development team.
• Support the UK sales team with quality related issues.
• Attend site visits when required.
• Be able to travel to Europe & the Far East (when required)
